Neurodiversity Design System
The NDS is a coherent set of standards and principles that combine neurodiversity and user experience design for Learning Management Systems.
This design system details the considerations needed to support learners with learning differences and variations in the human brain regarding sociability, learning, attention and mood. By aligning the needs of neurotypes with the principles and psychology of user experience and human design, interactive learning media can be greatly improved and help support the Universal Design for Learning.
The Neurodiversity Design System is a developing body of work by me, Will Soward, Lead Learning Experience & Media Designer at Tait Communications. It's important to mention the NDS is separate from my work at Tait Communications.
